Are you a passionate cook with a love for the Thai kitchen? Would you like to be part of an enthusiastic team in the oldest Thai restaurant of Haarlem?
Then we are looking for you
Our restaurant is situated in the historic center of Haarlem surrounded by shops, nice restaurants, and cosy bars.
You will be responsible for authentic Thai dishes in a restaurant where the quality of the food comes first. You will oversee that the dishes will be prepared according to strict quality guidelines, working ethics, and recipes.
Required Education/Experience MBO 3 diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years working experience as an independently working cookYou speak Dutch and/or EnglishJob Requirements: Mastery of all knowledge and skills of an independently working cookYou are quality-orientedYou are stress-resistantYou are flexibleYou are hospitable and guest-orientedGood social skillsWorks in the evenings, on weekends, and public holidaysA good team player who is flexible and has good communication skillsWhat We Offer: Salary: from €2400.00 Gross per month. Salary is increased in proportion to years of service.

Working Schedule: From 15:00 - 23:30Work in weekendsWork on holidaysJob Description: Prepare, cut, and display the ingredients at the beginning of every working day.Carry out the preparations, monitoring/checking the quality, doneness, taste, color, fluidity, etc., and making adjustments/dosing.Marinate meat products that need to be baked, fried, boiled, or roasted.Prepare starters and main courses that have to be baked, fried, boiled, or roasted.Clean one's own working environment, kitchen equipment, and machines and assist any kitchen assistant present in the complete cleaning of the kitchen.Application Question(s): Are you allowed to stay and work in the EU?Experience: Working as an independently working cook after diploma: 2 years (Required)Language: English or Dutch?
