Service Engineer

What are you going to do ? The Service Engineer works at the service hub in Vilanova*. One colleague currently works at this location, but due to our growth ambition, we would like to further expand and strengthen this team. The working area is worldwide, but mainly Spain, France and Italy.In this position you will be deployed for service and refit work. You must be able to analyse issues independently - and sometimes as part of a team - identify the problem and come up with an appropriate solution.* Alewijnse will provide support for temporary or permanent relocation to the Vilanova region. Think housing, language classes, moving.Some of your tasks include:You independently install and perform service, maintenance and commissioning work on various types of ships, but mainly super yachts; You think actively about problems or deviations that occur during the service assignments and projects; You make summaries and reports on the work done; You do preventive and corrective maintenance; What do we offer ? You are a team player, reliable, committed and always focused on building lasting relationships. You strive for cooperation, have a positive mindset and are creative. You have a proactive, results-oriented and open attitude.In addition: You’ve completed education MBO -4 electrical engineering or maritime school; You are substantively strong in automation issues and electrical engineering; You have good communication skills in English; You have persuasiveness, a focus on results and autonomy; You have several years of experience with electrical engineering, preferably on board ships; It is an advantage if you have several years of experience in automation (PLC, SCADA and alarm systems), preferably on a ship.
