The Role As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Linux-based systems and services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Additionally, you will administer Ansible for automation and orchestration, and coordinate team activities to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery.Hybrid work model: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.This role requires participation in 24x7 on-call rotations. Responsibilities Administer and maintain Linux server environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and related services. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies. Ensure system patching, updates, and compliance with best practices. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational stability. Administer Ansible for automation workflows and playbook execution. Coordinate tasks and priorities within the infrastructure team. Act as a point of contact for escalations and ensure timely resolution of incidents. Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and changes. Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to support business needs. Who You Are Technical and Professional Requirements Experience: 4–6 years in Linux systems administration and infrastructure management. Expert knowledge of: Linux server administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) Shell scripting (bash, ksh) Ansible administration (including playbooks and automation workflows) Preferred: Experience with Ansible Tower or Automation Platform Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage team activities. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Languages Required Spanish Intermediate English Catalan Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred: Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Ansible Automation Platform, or ITIL Foundation.
