Job Description ADM Health & Wellness (H&W) is looking for a dynamic leader to take on the pivotal role of EMEA Regulatory and Scientific Affairs for our innovative food supplements portfolio.Your Mission:Regulatory Excellence: Take ownership of EMEA regulatory oversight for ADM H&W food supplements, ensuring safety, efficacy, and full regulatory compliance.Strategic Approvals: Lead the development and submission of regulatory dossiers, secure ingredient and product approvals, and oversee post-market surveillance to uphold ADM’s reputation for quality and trust.Innovation Enablement: Collaborate across functions to inform innovation, mitigate regulatory risks, and enable market access, driving sustainable business growth.Commercial Alignment: Partner with commercial teams to design and implement regulatory strategies that unlock opportunities and align with ADM’s business goals.Leadership & Development: Provide leadership to a team of direct reports, guiding regulatory compliance initiatives, building team capabilities, and managing performance and capacity for success. Main responsibilities:FOOD SUPPLEMENTS (EMEA Scope) Ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic support for microbiome-based food supplements within EMEA. Conduct regulatory gap assessments, ensure alignment with EU and UK regulatory requirements, and monitor changes impacting the portfolio. Partner with cross-functional teams (&D, Sales, Marketing, Legal) to support innovation, market access, and lifecycle management. Lead regulatory risk assessments and propose mitigation plans aligned with business and regulatory expectations. Act as the primary regulatory contact for EMEA manufacturing sites, ensuring documentation and practices are aligned with applicable legislation. Maintain and oversee the RSA Health & Wellness regulatory databases for EU and UK, supporting documentation lifecycle, change control, and stakeholder access. Represent ADM in trade associations and regulatory forums, particularly in the field of food supplements and biotics (prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics), contributing to regulatory intelligence and positioning. Translate regulatory trends and developments into actionable guidance to enable compliance and business opportunities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize regulatory processes, systems, and delivery to internal and external customers. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & TALENT DEVELOPMENTLead and manage a small team of regulatory professionals supporting microbiome-based food supplements. Set individual business-aligned regulatory objectives, conduct regular performance feedback, coaching, and development planning. Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging accountability and continuous learning for both technical and soft skills. Act as a role model for regulatory leadership, promoting excellence, integrity, and constructive communication within the team, broader organization and commercial engagement.  Qualification and Experience:Master’s degree in Nutrition, Biotechnology, or a related field. PhD degree a plus. 7+ years of experience in regulatory affairs within food supplements. Proven experience managing complex regulatory submissions, including EU and national registrations. Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory frameworks, including EFSA, Novel Food regulations, and Nutrition & Health Claims legislation. Experience in regulatory advocacy and industry representation desirable. Experience in team leadership, people management, or mentoring is desirable. Strong organizational, attention to detail, communication, and strategic planning skills, with ability to operate cross-functionally and at various levels of the organization.
