PI Responsible: Prof. Dr. Miguel A. Correa-Duarte – TeamNanoTech group CINBIO is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher specialized in nanomaterials for drug delivery. Previous experience will be highly appreciated. Starting date: 01/01/2024 Gross salary: 31.200€ Full time – 1 year with possibility of extension. IMPORTANT INFO: This is an expression of interest; selection process will be conducted officially by the University of Vigo, using the means enabled for this purpose. Description: Bibliographic analysis Synthesis, characterization, and functionalization of nanocarriers for drug delivery (especially polymeric, solid lipid and mesoporous silica nanoparticles) Stability testing and controlled drug release studies in biological media. Frequent communication with European project partners, participation in project meetings, report and scientific writing. Qualification: Ph.D. in a relevant field of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Nanoscience, Materials Science, or related areas. Fluent in oral and written English. Prior experience in the synthesis of nanomaterials, drug delivery, characterization and data analysis. Duration of the contract: 1 year with possibility of extension. Deadline for the receipt of the applications: 15th December 2023.
