V.I.E. Trade Finance Analyst at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB Reference 25000PTK Responsibilities The VIE will be part of the GTB/TRA team in Madrid. GTB Spain, belongs to the GTPS BU and is dedicated to developing the business with corporate clients seeking support with transactions, guarantee issuance, letters of credit and other trade finance instruments. It targets large Spanish groups and local subsidiaries of multinational groups. The VIE will report directly to the Head of Trade Finance and will be mainly in charge of: Collaborate with TRA Sales and Middle Office team members assisting them in all duties linked to the origination and execution of different trade finance transactions for strategic clients and interacting with stakeholders (Senior Bankers, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Back Offices) Clients Onboarding Maintain Management Information Database Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources This position requires: i) abilities to work in an international environment; ii) strong interpersonal skills and "out of the box" thinking; iii) analytical skills to treat Management Information. Assignment details The VIE assignment starts as soon as possible and lasts 12 months. You must plan 3 months between application date and start. In case a visa is needed, ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after contract end. The VIE contract is under Business France’s eligibility criteria, open to candidates under 28 and from EU member states. Qualifications Graduate with a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Engineering. Previous experience in Transaction Banking is appreciated. Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
