V.I.E. Trade Finance Analyst – Societe Generale, Madrid. Responsibilities Collaborate with TRA Sales and Middle Office teams to support the origination and execution of trade finance transactions (domestic and international guarantees, letters of credit, structured transactions, etc.). Assist in the onboarding of clients. Maintain and update the Management Information Database. Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends. Prepare accurate reports using internal and external data sources. Qualifications Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in Transaction Banking or related areas is appreciated. Strong interpersonal skills and “out of the box” thinking to interact with diverse stakeholders. Analytical skills – ability to treat Management Information effectively. Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus. Good communication and presentation abilities. Proficient with MS Office. All candidates must provide written proof of the M2 diploma before the assignment start date. Grade sheets are not acceptable. Candidates from their country of citizenship, or aged 28 and above, are not eligible for this VIE program. Additional information on the VIE contract, financial indemnities, and eligibility criteria can be found on Business France’s website. The VIE assignment in Madrid will commence as soon as possible and lasts 12 months, with a mandatory 3‑month preparation period between application and start. Candidates are required to hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the contract end date if a visa is necessary.
