Project Manager- Pharma/ Life Science Construction Projects

Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to work on pharma construction projects. Job Objectives To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery with respect to large, complex projects. To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards. Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives. Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters. Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues. Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project. Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports. Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets. Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants. QualificationsA proven track record of delivering high quality project management services across the full project lifecycle with relevant sector experience e.g. Pharma, Life Science Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing. University degree in Construction Management or a related field. Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations. Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task. Must have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required. Manage revenue, team resource and priorities to ensure that client expectations are met. Good level of Spanish and English language skills required. Please note this is an on-site position.
