As part of this vision, we are looking for a highly skilled Legal Advisor - Gas & Power - to join our legal team. This role will provide legal and regulatory support to our national and international gas, biomethane, power, and emissions trading operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with various business units, offering strategic legal advice to support trading activities across natural gas, LNG, biomethane, electricity, CO2 certificates, and related hedging & futures. Provide legal and regulatory advice for gas, biomethane, power, and emissions trading operations, nationally and internationally. Draft, review, negotiate, and oversee legal documents, including EFET, IETA, LNG master agreements, ISDAs, CMOFs, and customized agreements such as BPAs and PPAs. Identify, analyze, and manage legal risks associated with trading operations and commercialization. Support internal and external projects impacting trading activities, including new initiatives in Commercial Integration. Provide legal assistance in claims, litigation, and arbitration, coordinating with internal teams and external law firms. Stay updated on relevant legislation, case law, and market practices; Collaborate with departments such as Legal & Assurance, Compliance, Tax, Finance, and other Group companies to ensure effective coordination. Bachelor's or master's degree in law or related field. Master's in Energy Law or related field preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential. Prior experience in trading businesses or legal advisory roles within trading companies. Knowledge of national/international regulations applicable to gas and power trading activities and standard market practices. Strong coordination and communication skills, proactivity, working effectively across countries, departments, and diverse cultural contexts. Ability to manage multiple tasks and operations simultaneously with strong problem-solving skills. Versatile, multidisciplinary mindset, adept at handling varied legal and operational issues.
