THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE SCIB COO is looking for a Middle Office Trade Finance Analyst based on our Malaga Office. As a Middle Office Analyst, you will be part of the Documentary Trade Middle Office team based in Málaga but supporting local Middle Office teams across European Branches. You will collaborate with other teams such as Front Office GTB, bankers, legal, compliance, back office and IG in different geographies. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Support the structuring, management and control of documentary trade transactions (Guarantees and Letter of Credit) booked in European Branches: checking clients’ requests and collecting right authorizations (legal, risk, compliance…). Book transactions in MO system, review closing memo and file of all documentation. Control of Precedent conditions in our transactions. Monitoring and reporting of the customers risks position if required, raising identified risks Monitoring and control all documentation and signatures to start operations and/or to disposal of the credit lines. Direct and proactive liaison with Back Office for the booking of the transactions, the fee management and various operational tasks. Support the accounting department providing any relevant information related to transaction booked in the branches. Be a direct and first point of contact for both clients and various internal departments in order to provide relevant information and solutions. Professional Experience At least years of experience in Documentary Trade Middle Office, with specific focus on Letters of Credit, preferably gained in an international environment, along with a sound passion for financial concepts as well as strategic thinking (preferred) Education Bachelor´s degree required (preferably Master´s degree); strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and / or economics). (Required). Languages English: Highly proficient in spoken and written (Required). Spanish/French/German/Italian (Preferred). Hard Skills Microsoft Office Package, proficient level (Required). Soft Skills The successful person will need to be highly motivated, responsible, challenging, able to work as part of a team, highly problem solving, with a strong ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
