Overview The SAP Security Architect (m/f/d) is responsible for designing and maintaining a secure SAP landscape that aligns with corporate information security strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems and modules, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure robust protection against evolving threats. LOCATION: Madrid city centre. The working location will be in Madrid city centre, where we are setting up a new office. Until the office is fully set up in the next few months, you may work flexibly from home-office with a hybrid model afterwards. This position is not fully remote and onsite presence will be required once the office is ready. Responsibilities Lead the technical design and development of secure SAP architectures, covering access control, data protection and threat mitigation Define and enforce SAP security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization in alignment with the Information Security Framework Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls within SAP environments based on risk Evaluate SAP security technologies and solutions Identify and drive security enhancements in SAP platforms (e.g. S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori) Collaborate closely with SAP development, engineering, IT operations and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the SAP lifecycle Adopt and promote a security-by-design approach with the different stakeholders Actively contribute to the Corporate Information Security architecture community, sharing insights and best practices Stay current with SAP security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on SAP environments Certificates are preferred: CISSP, CISM or SAP certifications English is a must; German and French are a plus Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST) Deep expertise in SAP security best practices, including user and role management, authorization concepts and secure configuration In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA, RISE, ECC and other SAP modules, and their security implications Experience designing secure architectures for both cloud-based and on-premise SAP deployments Familiarity with Enterprise Access Management (EAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions Benefits Attractive salary and social benefits Flexible and hybrid working Freedom for creative work Safe and secure workplace Individual development and training opportunities Meal voucher Life and accident insurance Exclusive offer for a premium private health insurance package Bonus payments for Christmas and holidays, based on the collective agreement Please only use the online application option.
