Job Title: Data EngineerLocation: EU (Remote)Contract: Freelance/ContractWe are hiring for an experienced Data Engineer to support a cloud migration project from AWS to GCP. This role requires expertise in data pipelines, data modelling and transformation workflows.You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and analytics teams to ensure a seamless and scalable migration of data products across cloud platforms.Your core responsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data transformation workflows.Support the migration of data solutions from AWS to GCP.Develop dbt models including transformations, tests and documentation.Work extensively with SQL in Trino and BigQuery dialects.Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure data reliability, performance and scalability during the migration.Contribute to version control and CI/CD workflows using git and GitHub.Support production grade environments and scalable data products across both AWS and GCP.Required experienceStrong experience with data pipelines and data transformation workflows.SQL expertise, ideally with Trino and BigQuery.Hands on experience with dbt.Hands on experience with AWS, GCP and services.Hands on experience with git and GitHub workflows.Experience using Great Expectations for data quality validation.Previous experience on cloud migration projects.Please apply for more information.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting#J-18808-Ljbffr
