Nutreco has two business lines:  Skretting  is a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions, revolutionizing aquaculture for a sustainable future.  Trouw Nutrition  specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through cutting-edge solutions.  We are seeking an automation engineer with a robust background in electrics and instrumentation, as well as a proficient communicator who can adeptly bridge the divides between various functions and effectively manage stakeholder interactions at all levels. The ideal candidate should be proficient in assembling complete PLC systems, encompassing both digital and analogue sensors to variable frequency drives, and should possess exceptional organizational abilities and a strong attention to detail. If this description aligns with your skills and qualities, we eagerly anticipate your application.  About The Role: OT Specialist Responsibilities: Apply automation and electrical engineering expertise to enhance safe and reliable operations. Assist the OT Manager in identifying automation development opportunities and sharing best practices. Take charge of automation and control system design, specification, programming, simulation, and testing. Simulating and testing these processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired and procuring relevant sensors and actuators for process control systems Develop automation standards and guidelines aligned with Nutreco global standards. Create replicable automation templates and solutions for use in diverse locations and projects. Offer troubleshooting support and perform root cause analyses for production issues, proposing preventative measures. Support new project design, installation, and commissioning, including travel (for testing in vendor facilities), while evaluating and validating design alternatives to optimize outcomes. Ensure project requirements align with business objectives and budgets, meeting the needs Maintaining the entire process control system and developing automation projects for new facilities, as well as implementing improvements in existing ones. Skills and Expertise Qualifications: Industrial or Industrial Automatic and Electronic Engineering degree, or at least any bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Computer Engineering. Minimum 5 years' experience in implementing automation projects following ISA-88 and ISA-95 standards. Proficiency in automatic process control for both continuous and batch processes. Ability to work as a team and collaborate with other departments. Good communication skills, teamwork and passion for technology.
