Job Description:
MPS is looking for a Principal Analog Design Engineer to join the Automotive BMS Product Line. As a part of the team, you will be focused on analog design with the ability to collaborate on the product’s definition, testability, and end applications robustness. This is a great opportunity where your success is only limited by your creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Design low power precision analog and mixed signal circuits including but not limited to: LDO’s, Charge Pumps, Bandgaps, Amplifiers, and/or DAC’s, ADC’s.
- Influence architectural decisions to ensure system/sub-system technical performance requirements are achieved.
- Develop macro models and participate in top level simulation.
- Actively participate in the entire product development cycle.
- Provide guidance to layout engineers on critical analog implementation aspects, monitor progress of layouts, and close the loop with post layout extraction and simulation.
- Work with a team of engineers to evaluate intended product behavior pre tape-out and post tape-out.
- Participate in hiring and mentoring of junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Requires Master’s Degree or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience within analog design.
- Highly motivated individual.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of transistor level design.
- Experience within BCD process.
- Experience with mixed signal design.
