CompanyTradebe Life Sciences - Purification Division, an international chemical group, leader in the solvent recycling industry in Europe, with a broad geographical footprint across Europe, the Middle East and kapa United States.PositionReporting to the CEO of the Division, the Deputy CEO will act as the CEO’s key partner, providing leadership and coordination across commercial activities, operations, and strategic projects. The role balances day‑to‑day management with long‑term transformation, ensuring effective execution, team alignment, and performance across multiple sites (5 sites across Europe and 290 employees).Main responsibilitiesWork closely with the CEO to provide oversight and leadership across the executive team.Represent the CEO when required and ensure strategic priorities are advanced consistently.Gradually assume broader organisational responsibilities in preparation for succession.Support commercial strategy, revenue growth, and key customer relationships.Lead or support negotiations, pricing strategy, and strategic partnerships.Identify new business opportunities, service offerings, and market expansion routes.Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure strong performance across all sites.Monitor KPIs, operational efficiency, safety performance, and continuous improvement.Support harmonisation of best practices, CAPEX planning, and operational excellence initiatives.Lead major strategic projects across departments (digitalisation, capacity expansion, sustainability, organisational development).Ensure project governance, milestones, and interdepartmental collaboration, helping functional roles (sales, operations, engineering, Health and Safety) collaborate and coordinate them to achieve the objectives.Act as a driver of change and improved communication.Contribute to the development and execution of the Group’s long‑term strategy.Support budgeting, forecasting, and mid‑term planning.Strengthen organisational structure, people development, and succession planning.Promote a culture of accountability, safety, transparency, and continuous improvement.Mentor and coach executive leaders.Build alignment and collaboration across all European sites.EducationBA/BS in Chemistry, Economics or Engineering required.An MBA is preferred.Experience10 to 15 years of leadership experience in an industrial environment with an international footprint and multi‑site exposure.Commercial management in a chemical company is a plus.Strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L management.Successful track record leading cross‑functional teams and projects.Skills & Other RequirementsA demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.Orientation to results.Understanding of operations, including manufacturing, sales, capital expense decisions, and acquisitions.Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.Excellent communication and influencing skills.Resilience, decisiveness, and problem‑solving ability.Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a transforming environment.Collaborative leadership style, fostering cross‑site cohesion.Proactive, organized, and pragmatic decision‑maker.Low‑ego, high‑impact leadership approach.OfferProfessional development growth within the Division.High‑impact leadership role across multiple European manufacturing facilities.Direct involvement in strategic decisions and operational transformation.Competitive compensation package.Seniority levelExecutiveEmployment type \문Full‑timeJob functionSales, Management, and Strategy/PlanningIndustriesChemical Manufacturing and Environmental Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
