About the role… We’re seeking a QA Engineer (SDET) to help us scale quality across Maisa Studio, our flagship Agentic Process Automation platform, by embedding automated testing and strong quality practices into our development lifecycle. This is an individual contributor and hands-on role where you’ll work closely with engineers to ensure our systems are robust, reliable, and production-ready as the platform continues to evolve. You’ll focus on test automation, API and integration testing, CI/CD integration, and test strategy, helping Maisa ship fast while maintaining the high quality required for enterprise-grade, regulated environments. What you’ll do… Design, implement, and maintain automated tests using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar Build and maintain API and integration tests for REST and GraphQL services Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) to provide fast and reliable feedback Collaborate with engineers to ensure testability across services and components Test Strategy & Quality Mindset Contribute to and evolve test strategies aligned with system risk and product complexity Make informed decisions on what to automate vs. what to test manually Apply a strong understanding of the testing pyramid, identifying coverage gaps and risk areas Advocate for quality early in the development process Reduce test flakiness and improve reliability of automated test suites Improve feedback loops so issues are detected as early as possible Implement test parallelization and optimize pipelines for speed and stability Continuously improve test execution performance as the system scales Work closely with engineering and product teams in an agile environment Provide clear, actionable feedback on defects, risks, and improvements Help build a culture where quality is shared ownership, not a final gate What you’ll bring… Hands-on experience as a QA Engineer / SDET, with a strong focus on automation Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar Solid experience with API and integration testing (REST / GraphQL) Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) Strong understanding of test strategy, the testing pyramid, and quality best practices Proven ability to balance automation with effective manual testing Experience improving test stability, reducing flakiness, and optimizing pipelines You will be joining one of Europe’s most exciting early-stage AI start-ups, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Agentic Process Automation that’s reshaping how enterprises approach AI deployment.
