Working closely with REVLON for their HQ in Barcelona, we are looking for an Indirect Procurement Director. He/She will be responsible for:

  1. Building the full category strategy, identifying saving opportunities, improvements in efficiency and compliance, in accordance with stakeholders and upper management.
  2. Tracking category performance, savings, and keeping informed the main stakeholders about the category evolution.
  3. Focusing on Innovation, using best in class tools and/or practices, providing alternative ideas to create competitive advantages and resolve issues.
  4. Assuring the most efficient P2P process, including the negotiation and management of the contract.

FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the global Corporate Services category including Financial Services (Credit Card, Tax & Audit, Payroll), Temporary Labor, Consulting, Legal Services, Travel, Office Supplies and HR Services (Recruiting, Relocation, Health Benefits).
  2. Develop a pipeline of projects for Corporate Services, working with leadership and key stakeholders to align resources for support as needed.
  3. Develop and implement a category strategy for all categories as well as develop and deliver a procurement strategy and plan which meets or exceeds targets and expectations.
  4. Manage strategic sourcing initiatives, following a 7-step sourcing methodology. Prepare and execute bid packages utilizing RFIs, RFPs, reverse auctions, etc.
  5. Find alternate and innovative ideas to provide business solutions, challenge requirements and specifications to create a competitive advantage.
  6. Develop qualified, competitive sources of supply on a continuing basis through comprehensive financial and market review.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key marketing stakeholders. Manage stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the end-to-end sourcing process.
  8. Collaborate with regional sourcing managers to understand regional business needs, market insights, risks and opportunities.
  9. Support savings tracking processes, measure contract compliance and other key metrics to ensure targets are being met and value is being delivered to the business.
  10. Develop, negotiate and manage contract process.
  11. Assist stakeholders in managing supplier relationships, tracking supplier performance, and communicating performance feedback to suppliers.
  12. Develop implementation and transition plans and support change management initiatives.
  13. Leverage available sourcing tools and technologies to conduct spend analysis, eSourcing, contract and supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing activities.
  14. Write policies and procedures, and gain alignment for change management activities, to further drive process controls and compliance.
  15. Perform Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) reviews with key strategic suppliers across all categories and manage operational activities related to the global travel program.
  16. Coach, develop and manage a team of direct and indirect reports.
  17. Provide support to the VP of Indirect Procurement as directed.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline. MBA or Master’s degree a plus.
  2. 7-10 years of professional experience in Sourcing and Procurement with a deep understanding of best practices and world-class processes.
  3. Subject matter expertise in a variety of categories and subcategories related to Brand Support and Corporate Service.
  4. Proven experience working in or directly with Marketing, Sales, Visual and In-Store Merchandising teams, including frequent interaction with other senior leadership members in Finance and or HR.
  5. Deep understanding of financial measurement; ability to identify and quantify legitimate areas of business benefit (cost savings, avoidance, client satisfaction, quality improvement, etc.).
  6. Previous global experience working within a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.
  7. 1-2 years minimum people management experience.
  8. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience building should cost models and have a working knowledge of eProcurement and eSourcing tools (SAP, Ariba, etc).
