Laboratory Technician – Integrative Cell and Tissue Dynamics Research Group (Lt_Xt) We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to carry out lab management and assist with projects on cell and tissue mechanobiology at Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC). Responsibilities Maintain and operate cultivation and tissue systems. Prepare samples in molecular, cellular and tissue biology and animal models. Prepare and visualize samples for microscopy. Prepare microfluidics and nano‑fabrication samples. Manage orders and reagents. Manage shipments of samples and reagents. Manage equipment. Handle administrative management of the laboratory. Ensure laboratory maintenance. Qualifications Higher Level Training Cycle (CFGS) in Analysis and Quality Control Laboratories. Life sciences degree or technical engineering (preferred). Mid‑level English proficiency. Experience in managing a mechanobiology laboratory. Competencies: communication, teamwork and collaboration, commitment, proactivity, integrity, critical and analytical thinking. Offer Number of positions: 1 • Starting date: February **** Working Conditions Full time Permanent position Maternity and paternity leave, flexible schedule, teleworking, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others.
