Wind Regional Services Contract Renegotiation Leader

Job Description SummaryExperienced leader accountable for guiding a cross functional team to evaluate low performing onshore wind service agreements and ensuring that contract improvements are implemented with customers.Job DescriptionAs a member of the Wind Commercial team the Wind Regional Services Contract Renegotiation Leader is responsible for analyzing Challenged Contracts in the regional FSA (Full Service Agreement) backlog and leading a cross functional team to develop and execute a strategy for improving GE Vernova's contractual position. Challenged Contracts are typically identified as contracts where the annual margin is expected to substantially less than as-sold margin the contract was approved based upon.ResponsibilitiesLead FSA contract renegotiation activities in assigned regionUnderstand and leverage available analytics to drive decision makingCollaborate with regional sales operations, legal, and commercial teams to implement contractual changes with customers, including directly interfacing with customers when required.Identify and overcome obstacles to successful renegotiationPrioritize activities based on likelihood of success and magnitude of benefitObtain cross‑functional buy‑in and support as necessaryCreate mutually beneficial outcomes for GE Vernova and customer as much as possible.QualificationsDemonstrated experience leading high‑profile cross‑functional initiativesAdvanced analytical skills or an interest and willingness to learn quickly (advanced Excel, Access, Tableau or similar)Direct customer engagement, preferably including negotiationsWind product and services knowledgeCreative thinking and problem‑solving skills to seek unique solutions meeting both GE Vernova and customer needsBasic understanding of customer proforma / business model to support evaluation of potential solutionsBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent significant years of professional experienceSeveral years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Services Operations, Fleet Performance Management or equivalent experienceDesiredHigh motivation level; self‑starter with strong leadership and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneouslyAbility to perform effectively in a non‑hierarchical team‑type environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projectsEstablished project management skillsAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided : NoKey InformationEmployment Type: Full‑TimeExperience: yearsVacancy: 1LocationRemote#J-18808-Ljbffr
