Overview Turner & Townsend is engaged in supporting our clients with complex projects, focusing on cost management and project delivery. We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager to act as the primary interface with clients, driving projects toward successful outcomes. Responsibilities Provide estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans. Estimate costs at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels. Manage pre- and post-contract duties such as preparing cost estimates, procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and final accounts. Assist with feasibility studies and procurement reports. Handle procurement processes, including managing pre-qualification, bid analysis, and contractual documentation. Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes, escalating major changes as needed. Manage cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients. Contribute to value engineering, negotiate, and approve final accounts. Maintain communication with clients and consultants throughout project stages. Develop and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Provide leadership to the cost management team when necessary. Identify opportunities for new business with existing clients and report to line managers. Suggest improvements to cost management procedures and tools. Qualifications Proven experience in delivering high-quality cost management or quantity surveying services across the project lifecycle. Experience in MEP construction, industrial, pharma, manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing sectors. Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field. Experience leading cost management on medium to large, complex construction projects. Advisory experience in value management, value engineering, and lifecycle costing. Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
