The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is part of the Med/Surg Department.  This is a full- time position working approximately  72  hours per two-week pay period . The primary shift  is 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM , with the schedule potentially including a combination of 12- and 8-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday rotation  is required. Qualifications Graduate of a recognized one-year Practical Nurse Program with State Board of Nursing licensure BLS certification  required IV certification required Hospital experience and departmental experience preferred Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members Commitment to patient-centered care, customer service, and maintaining standards of practice Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients within the Med/Surg unit and assist other departments as assigned Systematically assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide quality, individualized care Perform technical nursing functions in accordance with professional standards Coordinate and evaluate care while ensuring a safe and efficient environment Promote teamwork and collaborate effectively with physicians and personnel from other departments Uphold the standards of practice for professional nursing across all assigned patient populations
