The Senior Hardware Engineer will be responsible to ensure the development of cutting-edge, high-quality, and regulation-compliant hardware systems for Bold's electrification projects. Act as a technical reference for the team, enabling fast and robust delivery of hardware solutions that contribute to Bold's purpose of pushing boundaries in high-performance electric mobility. About Bold Valuable Tech: Our Vision Combining experience from Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace and Aviation with skills from concept phase through to full product delivery. We have two engineering divisions, different in their technologies but similarly focused on delivering compelling products to our customers. In our Applied Engineering division, we are an integral part of the design & development process for our high-performance customers including Formula 1, Motorsport and Automotive. From the initial stages of blank sheet designs to the final production, we assume ownership with a relentless commitment to bringing our clients' visions to life. We contribute across all areas of engineering and in multiple different specialisms including composite & materials, bodywork, aero & structural, powertrain, and tooling. Taking projects from initial concepts to production: we are designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing the next generation of high-performance batteries to innovative projects for multiple industries. Ensure the integration of electrical systems with safety, EMI/EMC, and regulatory standards. Ensure documentation quality and traceability of development activities. Act as the hardware representative in multi-disciplinary project teams. Coordinate with Systems, Mechanical, Software and Testing teams to align product design. Ensure product performance, cost, and manufacturability are balanced in the design process. Validation & Testing Define and supervise validation plans, test protocols and pass/fail criteria. Execute hands-on testing using lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.) Lead root cause analysis of failures and iterate design when required. Guide junior engineers through technical reviews, pair design sessions, and mentoring. Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or similar. Advanced knowledge in Analog/digital circuits, SI/EMC Fluent in English.
