We aim to generate a real impact on the future of electric mobility.What You Will DoHardware System Design & DevelopmentLead the concept and detailed design of hardware systems for internal and customer programs.Own the design of schematics, PCB layout, and system architecture using tools like Altium.Ensure the integration of electrical systems with safety, EMI/EMC, and regulatory standards.Propose and implement improvements in hardware design methodologies and practices.Ensure documentation quality and traceability of development activities.Cross-functional Collaboration & Program InterfaceAct as the hardware representative in multi-disciplinary project teams.Coordinate with Systems, Mechanical, Software and Testing teams to align product design.Communicate clearly hardware needs and constraints to relevant stakeholders.Ensure product performance, cost, and manufacturability are balanced in the design process.Validation & TestingDefine and supervise validation plans, test protocols and pass/fail criteria.Execute hands-on testing using lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.) as needed.Lead root cause analysis of failures and iterate design when required.Ensure EMC and functional safety requirements are addressed early in development.Mentorship & Technical LeadershipGuide junior engineers through technical reviews, pair design sessions, and mentoring.Ensure team members follow best practices in design, simulation, and documentation.Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.BOLD is an equal opportunity company.
