2 Project Engineers within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan

Tasks The two successful candidates shall work at the Transversal Section of the Engineering Division with the following main tasks : Mechanical design (from the conceptual design up to the detailed design) of vacuum devices / systems for the accelerators and beamlines at the synchrotron magnetic devices / systems for the new ALBA II storage ring including : Generation of specifications (picked up from the scientific needs). Production of3D files obtained as output of the design, including assemblies and FEM. Production of design reports and performance / acceptance test reports. The mecanical engineers will assume the role of Project engineer for the different projects related to vacuum components, and magnetic components and therefore, will become the responsible / spoke person in the different design review meetings. Support at the manufacturing and test phases : Supervision and approval of the manufacturing documentation (2D drawings) produced by the draft-man at the transversal section. Follow-up of the manufacturing process (requestor of purchase orders, contracts and preparation / follow-up of call for tenders if necessary). Follow-up of the in-house manufacturing. Test and validation of the manufactured devices / systems. Acceptance test reports and mechanical metrology Requirements The requirements for participation must be met on the date of the deadline for the submission of applications and will be accredited by means of the CV attached to it, without prejudice to the power of the selection body to require the contribution of the originals of the certifications accrediting the qualifications, training and experience invoked in the CV. Applications that do not present the aforementioned or required documentation during the selection procedure will not be accepted. The successful candidate must : hold a degree in Industrial engineering in the specialty of mechanics or fluid mechanics. Alternatívely, a degree on chemical engineering or nuclear engineering will also be accepted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
