What You’ll Do: As a Fraud Investigation Specialist, you’ll play a key role in detecting, analyzing, and resolving potential fraud cases to keep our marketplace safe and trusted. Your day-to-day will include: Investigating and verifying suspicious or high-risk activity using advanced internal tools and clear processes. Reviewing customer-submitted documents and validating authenticity with accuracy and discretion. Managing and resolving fraud cases within strict timelines, ensuring timely and fair outcomes. Tracking pending documentation and following up with customers as needed. Maintaining precise records and adhering to internal SLAs and compliance standards. Communicating professionally with customers and internal teams, even in sensitive or escalated situations. Identifying patterns, sharing insights, and helping improve fraud prevention workflows. What You Bring: We’re looking for someone who is analytical, proactive, and confident in making data-driven decisions. You’ll be a great fit if you: Speak German at C1 level and English fluently. Have 6+ months of experience in fraud prevention, risk analysis, or back-office support in a digital marketplace environment. Consistently meet KPIs and bring a high level of accuracy to your work. Have excellent communication skills, empathy, and adaptability especially under pressure. Are comfortable with OS-level systems (iOS, Android, Windows) and operational tools like CRMs or tracking platforms. Work autonomously, think critically, and always aim for root-cause solutions.
