About Horse Technologies Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites. Why join us? What you will do Define and deploy performance strategies across emissions, efficiency, drivability, and NVH. Lead technical performance contracts with customers and specialized teams. Translate customer objectives into technical targets for propulsion systems. Manage convergence toward performance goals considering cost/value ratios. Conduct technical reviews, prepare RFI/RFQ responses, and manage supplier evaluations. Organize and animate multidisciplinary team meetings and decision-making sessions. Benchmark innovative powertrain technologies and propose technical recommendations. Report project status and simulation/test results to top management. What we're looking forA proven track record in powertrain performance convergence and engine or gearbox calibration. Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree; Master's or PhD in combustion engines preferred. Excellent skills in project management and technical analysis of propulsion systems. Strong competencies in team leadership and strategic decision-making, with a collaborative approach. Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
