Job description: Associate Director Chief Engineer PW800 (F/M/X) We are seeking for a technical leader that upon delegation from the Engineering and Technology Executive Director will hold the maximum technical authority over PW800 project, including safety, airworthiness and certification related activities. What you will do: Responsible for achieving compliance with the PW800 technical objectives and product safety. Responsible for achieving project operations, deadlines, cost and quality results both in their non-recurrent or development parts and recurrent or production and maintenance cost parts. Responsible for managing, planning, executing and controlling project (industrialization included) until the final product service removal. Integrate project budget and resource planning and control, lead project organization and project teams development. Responsible for the authorization of all the Engineering Products which fall under the project scope. Responsible for risk identification, evaluation, risk mitigation plans, risk monitoring and control. Non Conformance Authority for the products under the project scope. Reports to PWC program director and to the Engineering and Technology Executive Director. Who we are looking for: Education: Degree in Engineering or Technical Engineering or Similar or Bachelor of Science. Experience: Experience of at least 3 years as Section Manager / Integration Manager or 1 year as Head of Department. 10+ years of experience in Engineering with diverse experience and exposure to the four key areas (Technology Development, Launch New Product, Product Supply and Provide in Service Support) and a deep understanding of engineering processes. Experience on leading multidisciplinary teams and programs with the ability to collaborate across the full organization to deliver required milestones. Budget and resource management experience, as well as implementing process improvements. Required Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge on gas turbine turbomachinery design, manufacturing, validation, certification, airworthiness and in-service support. Industry/engineering standards and requirements of the product. Languages: High fluency in English, written and spoken. Soft Skills: Good leadership & communication abilities to manage multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive alignment across global teams. Good analytical, and complex problem-solving skills to drive resolution of complex technical problems. Customer orientation with abilities to develop and evolve strong customer relationships. Location:Spain or Mexico. Who will I be working with? This PW800 Chief Engineer will report to the Senior Director Engineering Civil Business Unit and functionally to PWC program Director. He will also be leading a multidisciplinary team from all ITPAero Sites. Deadline for submitting applications The registration period will be open until january 12th 2026
