No Offer Description Introduction to the vacant position: The Nanobioengineering Group is seeking a junior postdoctoral researcher to support an ongoing European Pathfinder project to develop novel electrochemical aptamer sensors. We are looking for an exceptional candidate with experience in biosensors for biomedical applications, particularly electrochemical aptamer sensors. Main tasks and responsibilities: Plan and conduct assays for the design and development of biosensors Characterization with electrochemical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, square wave voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy. Characterization with complementary techniques such as surface plasmon resonance Prepare experimental reports, protocols, contribute to scientific publications and present findings at internal and external meetings. Participate in weekly lab meetings Actively contributing to lab research and collaborations. Excellent manual skills and attention to details. Adaptability and willingness to support team needs Requirements for candidates: Up to 2 years of PhD experience in any field related to biosensors. Strong scientific background in a relevant field (e.g., electrochemistry (CV, DPV, SWV, EIS), aptamers) Experience with aptamer beacons, surface plasmon resonance, and surface chemistry is recommended Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time effectively High level of English and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
