We're an innovative technical team within Adaptavist which focuses on novel and robust business solutions as software that creates new value for clients in a variety of ecosystems such as Atlassian, , Gitlab and AWS.What you'll be doing Involvement in the support and guidance of junior team membersCollaboration (Slack, email and Jira tickets) with all project team members including consultants, developers and project managersWork with the team to ensure our quality practices are adhered toDesigning, writing and testing solutionsComplex, collaborative problem solvingWriting automated tests at unit, integration, and functional levels and driving code quality within the teamTroubleshooting builds and deploymentsDocumentation of all technical designsAssisting with support escalationRole-specific skills, knowledge and experience Experience in using Java with tools like Junit, Maven, Gradle and mockito to build and test developer tooling, libraries and cloud services is a mustTesting frameworks in one or more of: Jest, Enzyme, Karma, Mocha, Sinon, Cypress, JPhantomJS or JasmineExperience working on a large codebase/APICreating Automation with Groovy Script / ScriptRunnerExperience with HTML5, CSS and front-end best practicesExperience in any one database storage technology and languages (e.g. SQL/RDBMS like Postgres and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB)Understanding of high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, distributed systemsInternal tools and consulting with Jira, Git, GitlabSecure cloud native applications deployed in AWSExperience with Atlassian products and APIs such as Jira (especially), Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Confluence.Atlassian Connect & Forge FrameworksExperience with NodeJSExperience with agile software development methodologies like Kanban or ScrumBroad knowledge and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience of public cloud offerings (AWS, AWS lambda, fargate, SNS / SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway and S3) and Docker containersPassion for the latest trends in application design and Interest in learning more about new languages and frameworksExperience with continuous integration, continuous delivery and infrastructure as codeSoftware Developer • Ibiza, Islas Baleares, ES#J-18808-Ljbffr
