This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior business development leader to join the team at an early stage to shape and drive Amazon Ads strategic agency partnerships.Displaying a consultative style, candidates must be excellent communicators, experienced at operating with senior counterparts with agencies and advertisers, and able to earn trust with senior stakeholders across other Amazon teams. Candidates should be comfortable with complex data sets and have the ability to invent and simplify for customers. A strong knowledge of the programmatic, search, and ecommerce will be beneficial. Candidates will be self‑motivated, happy to work autonomously and highly goal‑oriented in order to contribute to Amazon Ads ambitious growth plans.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a customer‑led strategy for growth for media agencies at local and regional level – including close collaboration with local Advertising leadershipBuild and manage a detailed engagement strategy, including local and regional business reviewsDevelop commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth across traded and programmatic productsLead education and enablement of key agency functions including delivery of agency‑wide eventsIdentify opportunities for agency collaboration around large‑scale creative solutions – including pro‑active engagement with creative agenciesLiaise with global teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency partnerships offered by Amazon’s productsBasic QualificationsExperience in digital advertising salesExperience building new customer relationshipsExperience in B2B salesExperience with high‑level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship managementBachelor’s degree or equivalentPreferred QualificationsExperience in selling programmatic or data‑driven ad products or platformsExperience in agency development at a media companyExperience interacting with a broad set of businesses and presenting both over the phone and in personExperience selling nascent products or servicesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
