The role:

You will manage the people side of change to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes, technologies, or structures. Key responsibilities include developing a comprehensive change management strategy that aligns with the program's goals, engaging Senior Executive stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, and executing effective communication plans to keep everyone informed about changes and their benefits. The Change Manager also coordinates and provides oversight on training and support to help leaders adapt to new capabilities and ways of working, while addressing resistance to change through targeted strategies.

Additionally, they monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. By focusing on these areas, the Change Manager plays a critical role in fostering acceptance of the transformation, minimizing disruption, and maximizing the chances of success for the program within the organization.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing a comprehensive change management strategy that aligns with the transformation program's goals and objectives, with output focused on a detailed change management plan document that outlines objectives, timelines, resources, and metrics for success.
  • Identifying and engaging key stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations throughout the transformation process, with output focused on a stakeholder analysis report that categorizes stakeholders based on their influence and interest, along with tailored engagement strategies for each group.
  • Developing and executing effective communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed about the changes, their impacts, and the benefits, with output focused on a communication calendar that includes key messages, channels, and timelines for disseminating information to stakeholders.
  • Providing communication and resources to help employees adapt to new systems, processes, or roles, ensuring a smooth transition, with output focused on a communication plan that includes communication materials, schedules, and feedback mechanisms to assess communication effectiveness.
  • Identifying potential resistance to change and developing strategies to address concerns and foster acceptance, with output focused on a resistance management plan that includes identified risks, mitigation strategies, and action steps to engage resistant stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of change initiatives and making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes, with output focused on a change impact assessment report that evaluates the success of change initiatives against predefined metrics and provides recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources, or a related field is typically preferred, with additional certifications in change management being advantageous.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience of continuous improvement or transformations programs.
  • Proven experience in change management methodologies and frameworks, with a successful track record of leading change initiatives in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all organizational levels, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing communication plans and facilitating discussions to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
