GTM Expert

YZi Labs is looking for a strategic and results-driven Go-To-Market (GTM) Expert to support our investment team in crafting and executing effective market entry and growth strategies. This role is critical in helping startups scale by providing expertise in positioning, customer acquisition, sales enablement, and channel development. You will collaborate closely with founders and internal teams to accelerate growth and maximize market impact across emerging technology sectors. Responsibilities Develop and refine GTM strategies for portfolio companies, focusing on product positioning, target market segmentation, and competitive differentiation. Support startups in building scalable customer acquisition and sales processes tailored to their markets. Collaborate with founders and leadership teams to identify key growth levers and optimize go-to-market execution. Provide insights on pricing models, distribution channels, and partnership opportunities to maximize market penetration. Work alongside the investment team to evaluate GTM potential during due diligence and post-investment support. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and strategic planning meetings with portfolio companies to enhance GTM capabilities. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to continuously adapt GTM approaches. Build and leverage networks with industry experts, sales channels, and marketing partners to support portfolio growth. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in go-to-market strategy, sales, marketing, or business development, ideally within startups or venture-backed companies. Strong understanding of emerging technology markets such as Web3, AI, biotech, or fintech is a plus. Demonstrated success in scaling early-stage companies and driving customer acquisition. Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to fast-paced environments.
