Adapt offers dynamic and diverse challenges that foster creativity, innovation, and application of knowledge to create client solutions.Role Summary As a Technical SEO Manager, you will be responsible for providing ad-hoc consultancy regularly to enterprise clients, conducting in-depth technical audits, and supporting large-scale website migrations. You will also play a key role in AI-focused SEO optimization, ensuring that clients’ sites are technically aligned with the latest AI-driven search trends and ranking opportunities.Key Responsibilities SEO Consultancy: Provide weekly ad-hoc technical SEO support to enterprise clients, answering queries, reviewing implementations, and offering strategic recommendationsTechnical SEO Audits: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, analyzing site health, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data, and other key ranking factorsWebsite Migrations: Support client internal teams with complex website migrations, including domain changes, platform transitions, and site architecture improvements to minimize ranking disruptionsAI Optimization for Search: Advise on and implement technical SEO best practices to enhance visibility in AI-driven search results, including AI Overviews, structured data enhancements, and content indexing strategiesTechnical Implementation: Work closely with developers, product teams, and content strategists to implement SEO recommendations efficientlyMonitoring & Troubleshooting: Use tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and Log File Analysis to identify and resolve technical SEO issuesSEO Strategy & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging AI-driven search features, ensuring clients’ SEO strategies remain competitiveKey Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience (agency experience preferred)Strong knowledge of enterprise SEO strategies, including large-scale site architecture, crawl optimization, and JavaScript SEOProven experience conducting SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and DeepCrawlExpertise in website migrations, including redirects, URL structure changes, and risk mitigationUnderstanding of AI-driven search trends, such as AI Overviews, structured data for AI indexing, and optimizing for search generative experiencesFamiliarity with Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) and how AI impacts search rankingsProficiency in log file analysis and debugging crawlability issuesStrong grasp of Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and technical performance improvementsBasic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and structured data markup (Schema.org)Experience collaborating with development teams and CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and headless CMSExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical SEO insights into actionable recommendations for enterprise stakeholdersNice to Have Skills Knowledge of Python for SEO automation (e.g., data scraping, log file analysis)Experience with server-side SEO (e.g., edge SEO, Cloudflare Workers, CDN optimization)Understanding of Google’s AI advancements and their implications for search strategyWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
