About the Role We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Infra Cloud Squad. This role focuses on automating the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in enabling scalable, secure, and efficient environments. The team’s core responsibilities include analysis and architecture validation of cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to automate the deployment of Azure resources. Develop and maintain reusable automation using Ansible while managing deployments with automated configuration management. Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (RHAAP) or GitHub Actions. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost optimisation best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks via Jira. Document infrastructure designs, automation processes, and operational procedures. Support the team in architecture validation and infrastructure analysis. Requirements Proven experience in automating Azure infrastructure for data and analytics platforms. Strong proficiency and experience with Ansible for configuration management. Solid scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python. Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with Azure networking, identity, monitoring, and security. Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira for task management. Strong communication and documentation skills.
