About the RoleFor an initial 6 month contract we are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to streamline and automate access and approval workflows across enterprise applications using PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Entra Governance, and broader Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles. This role involves building automation solutions, enhancing governance controls, and ensuring secure, efficient management of user access within a modern cloud environment.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and Microsoft Graph integrations to automate access provisioning, approvals, and lifecycle management of applications. Collaborate with IAM and security teams to implement automation aligned with Microsoft Entra Governance and compliance policies. Integrate access workflows with Entra ID’s entitlement management, access reviews, and role-based access controls (RBAC). Troubleshoot, optimize, and document automation processes and scripts. Support continuous improvement of identity governance and access processes across the organization. Ensure automation aligns with security, audit, and regulatory standards.Required Qualifications Proven experience in PowerShell scripting and automation. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID. Understanding of Identity Governance, Access Management, and Zero Trust principles. Familiarity with Microsoft Entra Governance features (e.g., access packages, entitlement management, access reviews). Experience with integrating automation into enterprise IAM platforms. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
