About the Role We are looking for an Opera Data Migration Consultant to join our team in Zagreb. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth data migration during Opera 5 to Opera Cloud transition projects. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Oracle Hospitality systems, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global delivery environment. Lead end-to-end data migration activities for Opera Cloud implementation projects. Analyze legacy system data structures and define migration mapping and transformation logic. Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Oracle tools and internal utilities. Validate data accuracy and integrity in collaboration with functional and project teams. Coordinate with Oracle and HRS project managers to ensure data readiness aligns with project timelines. Troubleshoot migration issues and perform root cause analysis during UAT and go-live phases. Create and maintain detailed migration documentation, templates, and procedures for global reuse. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. ~2+ years of experience in data migration or database management, ideally within the hospitality industry. ~ Familiarity with Oracle Hospitality applications (Opera 5, Opera Cloud). ~ Strong SQL and data manipulation skills; experience with migration tools or ETL platforms is an advantage. ~ Strong communication skills and fluency in English (both written and verbal). ~ Fluent English both written and spoken.
