Check out our video for furtherinsights We are looking for you to lead our Operations team as a Head of Operations (f/m/d) , full-time role based in Barcelona, Spain. HEAD OF OPERATIONS(F/M/D) You are a passionate host and describe yourself as a talented organizer and great leader. Stress is like motivation for you and there are no limits to your creativity. Your responsibilities: Developing and directing the overall strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of ISE trade show by collaborating with stakeholders, sales, and marketing teams to define business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines. Devising innovative solutions to enhance the impact of ISE trade show. Overseeing the logistics of ISE trade show set up and tear down, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring that all exhibits are delivered and set-up on time. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client specifications. Leading and mentoring the Operations team ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication, and high performance. Fostering a positive work environment, providing training and support, and managing team workloads to ensure successful event execution. Leading the coordination of event security planning and on-site readiness with venues, partners, internal teams and official security bodies of the city of Barcelona. Acting as a key escalation point for security-related topics during live show delivery. Supporting compliance with safety, data protection, and operational risk standards across the event life cycle. Requirements: Completed business studies with a focus on event management, trade fair, congress, or event marketing, or a comparable qualification, intensive professional experience and trade fair industry expertise. Proven experience in managing large-scale events or exhibitions, including logistical and operational aspects and ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and manage international teams in a fast-paced environment. At least 10-15 years of experience in trade show operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and project management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Strong command of English and Spanish languages.
