Established in 1998 and operating in over 60 languages, Keywords Group is a fast‑growing international service provider to the global Video Game Industry. With offices in Dublin, Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Montreal, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, New Delhi and more, we work worldwide to deliver a broad range of linguistic, testing, quality assurance, and customer support services to Video Game Developers and Publishers. The French Game Linguist role is to translate from English into French in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a passion for Games. This position is in‑house working on a client‑specific project expected to last 4 months (February‑June), with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at C. de Julián Camarillo, 6A, 3ºB, San Blas‑Canillejas, 28037 Madrid, Spain. Duties and Responsibilities Translate in‑game content from English to French to a high‑quality standard. Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved. Collaborate with other linguists on the project to maintain consistency and quality across translations. Qualifications Native level French speaker with excellent command of English. Passion for the games industry and gaming culture. Educational qualification in linguistics, translation, or equivalent field. Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. Self‑motivated and able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with CAT tool software, e.g. Memsource/Phrase, MemoQ is an advantage.
