Quality Control Engineer – AI & LLM ServicesBarcelona | Hybrid | Fixed-term contract (to June 2026)Want to be on the front line of real-world AI quality, validating systems that power next-generation LLMs, chatbots, and AI services used globally?A fast-scaling European deep-tech company at the intersection of AI and advanced computing is hiring a Quality Control Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and robustness of cutting-edge AI products.This role is actively hiring with a fast, transparent interview process.Why this role stands out- Work on AI technology that dramatically reduces model size and inference cost- Direct impact on production LLM systems used by enterprise clients- Join a Series-B-stage deep-tech company with strong international backingWhat you’ll do- Own quality validation for AI & LLM-based applications (chatbots, RAG, APIs, data pipelines)- Define acceptance criteria with engineers, product teams & clients- Test scalability, latency, robustness & data integrity under real-world conditions- Build and standardize QA frameworks across AI projects- Design manual & automated test suites for ML/LLM workflows- Ensure final deliveries meet both technical and functional excellence standardsWhat you bring- Master’s degree in CS, Data Science, Software Engineering (or related)- 2+ years in QA for software, ML or AI systems- Understanding of AI/ML testing challenges (reproducibility, output validation, bias)- Familiarity with Python, APIs & modern ML/LLM workflows- Fluent English (Spanish or French a plus)What’s on offer- Competitive salary- Signing bonus and retention bonus- Fixed-term contract ending June 2026- Hybrid working & flexible hours- Relocation support (if needed)- Equal pay guaranteed- International, multicultural tech environmentIf you’re passionate about making AI trustworthy, scalable, and production-ready, this is a rare chance to do it at the cutting edge.
