Electrical Engineer – Electric Motor Design Engineer for Geothermal WE’RE HIRING: Electrical Engineer – Electric motor design engineer for Geothermal. At Hephae Energy Technology, we are redefining how the world taps into deep geothermal energy. We design and develop robotics that operate under extreme temperatures and harsh subsurface conditions to unlock a baseload source of clean, renewable power. We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer focused on the design, integration, and testing of electro‑magnetic machines—motors, generators, resolvers—capable of withstanding the extreme temperature, shock, and vibration of geothermal drilling environments (300°C+). What you’ll do: Design, develop and validate high‑temperature electromechanical systems (BLDC motors, resolvers, alternators) for subsurface tools. Tackle extreme environments (300+°C, high shock and vibration loads). Simulate, prototype and test your designs with a world‑class R&D team. Collaborate closely with experts in materials, mechanics, and fluid dynamics. Engage with suppliers and labs to manage technical aspects of testing and validation. What we’re looking for: Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (Master’s/PhD preferred). Extensive knowledge of electromagnetic theory, electrical machine design, and power electronics. 3 years of experience designing and testing electric motors or electro‑magnetic machines. Familiarity with tools such as Maxwell, Flux, Motor‑CAD, MATLAB/Simulink, COMSOL, or similar. Strong English communication skills (C1 level as defined by CEFR). Passion for renewable energy and innovation. Proactive, hands‑on attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
