Mechanical Engineer Drone / UAV Manufacturer Basque Country, Spain Salary: €45,000-€50,000 base plus benefits Airbotics Talent are exclusively partnered with an exciting UAV manufacturer based in the Basque Country region of Spain to hire a Mechanical Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on highly innovative, cutting edge technology, developing first of their kind systems in a entrepreneurial scale-up environment. The Role As a key member of the Research & Development team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative autonomous drone hardware solutions. This role will be critical in taking their product from prototype to launch. You will have cradle to grave responsibility and be key in the design, build and delivery of a highly anticipated system. The Person The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a Mechanical Engineer role Experience in the design and development of UAV hardware Proficiency with CAD and design software A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, Robotics or similar field A willingness to get hands on up given start up nature of the business A confident character, able to challenge and influence development phase Residency in the Basque Country, or willing to relocate from wider Spain / a EU member state to the local area Our client are looking to hire this role immediately, so if interested please submit your application with attached CV today for consideration Due to confidentiality, and to protect our client interests, many of our assignments will not be posted here.
