Join our Functional Testing team at one of the largest financial institutions in Portugal and play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and user‑ready digital solutions.AutomationSupport in the design, setup, and further development of the test automation framework (scripts, simulators, test data)Consultation and support in test automation (design and implementation of test cases)Support in selecting and implementing new test toolsImplementation of AI algorithms; creation and maintenance of digital twins for test objectsConsultation and support in bug analysis and fixing for test automation toolsSupport in documenting and resolving software defectsSupport in automating reporting processesEnvironmentSupport in creating a production‑like internal acceptance test environment to ensure test readinessInstalling and configuring databases, software components, gateways, interfaces (APIs), and mock‑upsSetting up test tools and supporting the test automation teamEnsuring the functionality of environments, software components, test tools, and incident management toolsManaging tester registry and access rights/privilegesManaging specific role and authorization conceptsQualificationsGeneralExtensive experience with agile methods (e.g., SAFe)Good knowledge of collaborative project management tools like Jira and ConfluenceExcellent knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Xray) and test data management toolsPractical experience documenting test casesKnowledge of databases and API interfacesISTQB certification desirable (Foundation Level, Agile Tester, Test Automation Engineer)Experience working with mocksAutomationExtensive experience in test automationGood programming skills, especially Java, PythonExperience with database systemsGood knowledge of CI/CD processesFamiliarity with test automation tools (e.g., Eggplant)Experience using AI in software testingKnowledge of automated interface testing (Postman, Rest Assured)EnvironmentGood knowledge of CI/CD processesKnowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible or comparable)Good understanding of networking conceptsKnowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios)Experience with version control systems (GitLab)Experience setting up, maintaining, configuring, and managing test environmentsKnowledge of test tools and environment management processesKnowledge of managing Windows, Linux, and Unix systemsPractical experience with virtualization (VMware) and/or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of tooling and implementation of specific role and access control concepts (RBAC, Active Directory)Must haveEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (computer science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance)Experience: 3+ years in Software Testing (IT development activities are also valid)Hybrid work – 1–2 days of work in the office in Madrid per week.Send your CV & Join our teamSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-18808-Ljbffr
