Job Description Summary Job Description ROLE The Principal Project Manager role in Biometrics involves the following characteristics: Directs and manages projects from initiation to closure.  Serves as primary contact for clients  Is responsible for monitoring and managing a project to ensure it meets Alira Health's and the Sponsor's or other organization's requirements.  Is responsible for the overall planning and oversight of the projects, from inception to completion, ensuring completion on time, within cost and required quality standards  Coaches/mentors Senior/Junior Project Managers and supports Project Management Director with process improvement initiatives  KEY RESPONSABILITIES Responsible for the creation and maintenance of project plans, including tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation. Responsible for assigning the project team in conjunction with the relevant department head and for allocating the resources needed to achieve project goals. Develop project management documentation, such as, but not limited to, communication plan, risk plan and status reports.  Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and Sponsor in a timely and clear fashion.  Liaise with Sponsor and team members on an ongoing basis.  Schedule the kick-off meeting with team members  Identify and develop project success criteria, potential risks and contingency plans  Prepare, discuss, maintain and document study timelines with Sponsor and project team   Timely oversight of the budget, including work completed, hours used and profit status and ensure the profitability target is met  Maintain accuracy of information recorded in the Alira Health business and project management system  Support in reviewing Budget Proposals  Manage out of scope activities and prepare and discuss change orders with Sponsors  Work with QA department to ensure resolution of any quality issue that may arise and support QA during internal/external audit and for the resolution of relevant findings  Work with administration to review and approve step of payments  Review study documentation before returning to Sponsor  Attend F2F meetings with Sponsor, when requested  Assess Sponsor satisfaction with the work completed by Alira Health  Ensure project and department KPIs are met  Manage issues and risks escalated by relevant stakeholders  Interact proactively with other departments, such as finance, administration, department directors, commercial team and QA  Manage GxP suppliers required for the completion of the project  Share critical and general issues with the Sponsor, Line Manager and/or Managing Director. Conduct other activities, reports or analysis as required by the Alira Health management. DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor degree in a Scientific or related discipline or college diploma   At least 5 years of experience in clinical research  At least 5 years of experience in Project Management  Project Planning, Very Good  Project Organizing, Very Good  Project Controlling, Very Good  Program Management, Very Good Understanding all clinical research processes, Very Good  Usage of project management software, Good  TECHNICAL COMPETENCES & SOFT SKILLS  English, Very Good MS Office Suite, Good Professional Trustworthy Ability to effectively prioritize Quality focused Personable Attitude  Willingness to learn  Team Player  Effective Stress Management Techniques  Learning Agility  Ability to Manage Conflict   Problem Solving Skills  Effective Verbal Communication Skills  Commercial and Technical Writing Skills  Networking Skills  Analytical thinking  Resilient  Ability to Influence and motivate  Ability to manage difficult conversations  Innovative  Ability to Provide Constructive Feedback  Excellent Presentation Skills  Commercial awareness  Ability to recognize and develop talent  Languages EnglishEducation Bachelor of Science (BS): Life SciencesContract Type Regular
