From designing and maintaining key water infrastructure to advising on natural catchments and flood defences, we help clients to consider the long-term economic, environmental and social dimensions of their proposals.The OpportunityThis is your chance to be part of the Civil Engineering team in the Madrid office where you will be supporting local and international clients in managing water and water risk and working with multi‑disciplinary teams across the globe.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on consulting and technical design projects in water purification and treatment.Prepare water offers and studies for Spanish public administrations, private clients and international banks.Manage water projects and work teams.Coordinate with counterpart teams in other offices of the company outside Spain.QualificationsStudies in Civil Engineering / Public Works Engineering / Industrial Engineering (Hydraulics) or Chemical Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in water purification.Experience in water/hydraulic consulting/advisory projects.Fluent level of English and Spanish written and spoken skills.Bonus PointsKnowledge of Presto and GIS.Experience with hydraulic design and calculation software.ConditionsImmediate incorporationHow to applyTo apply for this vacancy, register your updated CV and a cover letter in English.Why ArupAt Arup, we offer a rewarding career with a global company committed to a better future.
