Sr Technical Acct Mgr (EMEA), ES - EMEA, ES - EMEA - North

The Role

An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers. You’ll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more.

This position will require the ability to travel 10% or more as needed.

As we continue to rapidly expand in EMEA, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop your technical, consulting, and leadership skills while working with talented cloud technologists and gaining AWS certifications.

Key job responsibilities

  • Advise on solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer.
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • Provide detailed reviews of service events, monthly & quarterly metrics, and pre-launch planning.
  • Solve problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.
  • Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and brown bag sessions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Estonian language at B2 level.
  • Experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Architect.
  • Understand operational parameters and troubleshooting for Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, and Applications Development.
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to articulate to small and large audiences.
  • Ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer obsessed.
  • Professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Programming or scripting skills with Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, or PHP is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or DevOps Engineer is a plus.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, or Chef is a plus.
