Lead Field Service Technician – Thermal Works LLC is looking for an experienced, goal‑oriented professional to join our team. The role plays a key part in startup/commissioning and ongoing service of all Thermal Works equipment, collaborating closely with the Thermal Works team and local contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in a comprehensive training program at Thermal Works' U.S. headquarters.Manage preventive maintenance and service schedules.Perform on‑site quality control for the installation of Thermal Works products.Execute all preventative maintenance and service needs for clients.Be available to take emergency issues on call.Monitor service software closely to ensure services are met on time.Collaborate with different departments within the company for product development and improvement.Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repair of Thermal Works equipment.25% travel within Spain (75% travel requirement).Skills & RequirementsTechnical or vocational degree/certification in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or electromechanical systems (e.g., Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Mantenimiento de Instalaciones Térmicas y de Fluidos in Spain).F‑Gas Category I certification (in accordance with EC Regulation No. ********) required for handling fluorinated gases.3–5 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical systems for mission‑critical infrastructure, including data centers, healthcare, or industrial facilities.Experience with chillers and CRAH (Computer Room Air Handler) units, encompassing installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with EU safety standards, pressure equipment directives (PED), and EN 378 refrigeration safety norms.Capability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and system optimizations in live environments.Specific Skills / AbilitiesBaseline circuit analysis and troubleshooting of electrical components.Knowledge of hydronic systems.Ability to effectively troubleshoot HVAC systems.Understanding of refrigeration theory and hands‑on applied sciences.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.Fluent in English and Spanish; additional European languages a strong plus.Ability to read drawings at a basic level.Able to lift up to 50 lbs.Position : Lead Field Service Technician – Full‑timeReports to : Field Deployment and Commissioning ManagerLocation : Madrid or Barcelona, Spain (On‑site)Travel requirement : 75% within SpainContact: ******#J-18808-Ljbffr
