POSITION SUMMARY / MISSION**The Global Total Rewards Associate Director designs and leads the global strategy for compensation, benefits, and total rewards. Reporting to the Executive Director of Talent & Culture Strategy, the role ensures alignment with business and People & Culture goals, while positioning the company as a top employer in the pharmaceutical industry. By driving innovation and competitiveness in rewards, this role helps attract and retain top talent and supports the delivery of our ambitious goals through a culture of equity, performance, and well-being.**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**• Develop and lead the global total rewards strategy, including compensation philosophy, benefits design, and recognition programs.• Partner with executive leadership and P&C teams in the affiliates to ensure alignment with business objectives and local market practices.• Lead global benchmarking and market intelligence efforts to ensure competitive positioning.• Design and govern global frameworks for base pay, variable pay, equity programs, and executive compensation.• Oversee global benefits strategy, including health & wellness, retirement, and other employee-centric programs.• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.• Serve as a thought leader and advisor to senior leadership on all matters related to rewards and benefits.• Monitor emerging market practices and competitive trends, connecting them with Almirall’s ambition and integrating opportunities enabled by digitalization and AI• Represent Almirall externally as a thought leader in Total Rewards, participating in relevant forums and networks.**EXPERIENCE**• 12+ years of experience in global compensation and benefits, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role.• Proven experience in designing and implementing global rewards strategies.• Experience working in a multinational environment with diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
