Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) role at DeepTech Builder, located in Valencia, with work-from-home flexibility. The CMO will be responsible for overseeing all marketing operations and developing the company's marketing strategy and vision. Day-to-day tasks include market planning, conducting market research, managing public relations, and overseeing marketing management and sales efforts. The CMO will be instrumental in designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company's business activities. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role for an individual who can craft a world-class brand narrative while executing across multiple channels and engaging diverse stakeholders. It will work directly with the CEO and COO and collaborate with our venture-building, communications, and investor teams to scale our reputation across Europe and beyond. Brand Management Define and own our brand's personality, voice, and narrative. Maintain coherence across all visual and verbal communications. Lead identity development, buyer persona creation, and reputation management. Oversee website content, Google presence, and internal/external merchandising. Strategic Marketing Design and execute full-funnel inbound marketing strategies. Develop high-conversion content for web, social media, and newsletters. Own the editorial calendar and campaign planning. Coordinate publication and promotion across multiple platforms. Institutional Communications Collaborate with external partners on campaign execution. Manage email communications, interviews, and thought leadership initiatives. Represent the company at events and ecosystem engagements. Portfolio Company Support Guide spin-offs on brand strategy and go-to-market strategies. Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity. Build marketing frameworks from scratch to scale for DeepTech ventures. Qualifications Market Planning and Market Research skills Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze data and trends Experience in the technology industry is a plus Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (not mandatory) 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, branding, and communications. Proven ability to manage complex messaging across multiple stakeholders. Experience building marketing functions or working in fast-paced, startup-like environments. Comfortable working across design, copywriting, digital marketing, and CRM tools. Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish. Strong execution skills with an eye for aesthetics and storytelling. Bonus Points Experience in venture building, innovation, or science-driven organizations. Solid network within the Spanish innovation ecosystem. Familiarity with B2B and B2G communication strategies. Genuine passion for DeepTech, science, and societal impact.
