Data Enablement Specialist Platform Steward As a Global Data Enablement Services Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and compliance of data within Boehringer Ingelheim’s medical platforms. The role will be key on delivering excellence within the HPS organization, moving towards Boehringer Ingelheim’s data strategy.Tasks and responsibilitiesDevelop and enforce data governance policies and standards specific to medical platforms, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Monitor and enhance data quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related issues within medical platforms, providing guidance and support to data users.Collaborate with data integration teams to ensure accurate and compliant integration of data from various medical sources.Maintain detailed documentation of data definitions, business rules, and data lineage within medical platforms.Ensure data practices comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant standards.Partner with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data meets business needs.Provide training and support to data users on medical platform best practices.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in health information management, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in data stewardship, data governance, or a similar role within the healthcare industry.Strong understanding of data management principles and healthcare data standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in data governance tools and technologies.Experience in Boehringer Ingelheim’s medical platforms such as INCAP or EPIC.Fluent in oral and written English.Strong collaboration, communication, and mediation skills.Strong results orientation and ability to plan and organize work.We are continuously working to design the best experience for you.
