Overview EHS Consultant in Barcelona or Madrid, Spain. Join Ramboll’s Environment and Health Department to drive sustainable change. Location Hybrid working pattern from our Barcelona or Madrid office. Your new role As our new EHS Consultant you will have 1-2 years experience in Compliance Transaction and Corporate Services with a focus on Health & Safety compliance and due diligence in the M&A sector. Your key responsibilities will be : Execution of Environmental and / or Health and Safety Due Diligence Execution of EHS compliance audits Execution of H&S Risk Assessments and review of H&S Plan In the long term execution of ESG review and reporting Taking direct part in assignments with direct interaction with Clients and third parties (lawyers, advisors, vendor / buyer regulators). Requires strong soft skills (negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem solving and teamwork Proposal and reporting in Spanish or English. Portuguese communication skills is a plus Your new team Part of an international network of engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists and biologists working on contaminated site management, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. About you Required qualifications: Bachelor degree or higher in environmental engineering, environmental science, biology, chemistry or related disciplines. Master’s degree in Health and Safety is a plus. 1-2 years of relevant experience in environmental due diligence (acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, property sales and leases) and/or in EHS management and sustainability services. Effective written and verbal communication, organization, analytical skills; experience with recording and writing reports. Professional fluency in Spanish and English is essential; Portuguese is a plus. What we can offer you Flexible work environment; remote working up to 3 days per week.
